In-Person Counseling

Wendy has been such a tremendous blessing to me and my family. Since seeing Wendy, life has become much easier and I feel truly Uplifted. Wendy helps me navigate the ups and downs of raising a family, being married, aging parents and work responsibilities – especially when life gets to be too much. I go to see Wendy a couple of times a month, and by helping me, Wendy has indirectly helped my whole family. She has taught me techniques I have implemented which have made life more enjoyable. Through her help over the last 3 years, I feel like I am becoming my best self – mind, body and soul. A good friend of mine who is very put together and successful in her own right recommended Wendy, and I am so glad she did. Wendy really knows what she is doing. I have been seeing Wendy off and on for over ten years now. She has been crucial to my health as I went through fertility treatment, depression, and varying other life issues across the years. She sometimes has a better memory for my experiences than I do. I trust her implicitly. She is kind, knowledgeable, empathetic, and positive. I do not know a lot about counseling approaches but Wendy seems to blends a variety of different approaches to fit my needs in every session. Our focus is always on the present; we recognize how the past might impact the present but do not dwell in the past. I walk out of every session feeling like I have a new perspective, new direction, and/or a new approach to a problem. I am incredibly grateful to have found Wendy and to be able to keep gaining her insight and help as the years progress.

Wendy Iglehart is a wonderful therapist. She listens to you which is very important, but she also has great knowledge on how to respond with extremely helpful dialogue. I have those moments where I say out loud "I never thought about it that way", or I never thought about that at all", which means Wendy has real concrete ways to help with issues one is dealing with. I have been seeing Wendy as an individual counselor for almost three years, and more recently as a couples counselor. In that time, her support has been critical to helping me understand and move through significant life changes, including the end of my first marriage, entering a new relationship, remarriage and the birth of my first child, as well as related issues such as moves, job changes and family dynamics.
